Sure, retiring at 62 sounds great. But the benefit is garbage and if you don't have a great portfolio...you're screwed. That's when a roof over your head is more important than eating. I'll die working. So sad.

If you were disabled, had no income, and were facing a 2 year slog of uncertainty to try to get SSDI disability benefits, then yes, you would happily take retirement benefits at 65, or even before. By the way, Social Security benefits do not adjust in yearly age increments as shown at 2:46. That's an oversimplification. They actually adjust by monthly increments. So waiting until age 65 and 3 months to start would give you a slightly higher benefit than retiring at age 65, 0 months.

Hi When I apply for Medicare,I have my federal blue cross and blue shield insurance do I still need to get those supplements if I have my insurance.

Plan F is I believe available depending on your birth year and but you may require underwriting. I think four states ban underwriting if you want to change from a MAP to Plan F.

The medical student from Ohio (Michael) who provides a personal testimony in this video, states many people think they are signing up for Traditional Medicare when they are instead signing up for Advantage. But that can't be, as you must first sign up for Traditional Medicare, before enrolling in an Advantage plan. I mean, they already had their red, white, and blue Medicare card when they signed up for Advantage. What is more likely, is they don't understand they are replacing their original Medicare, rather than supplementing it.

This is all surprising. I have Medicare Part C and use Kaiser Permanente and I've been very pleased. And this year I signed up for Kaiser Senior Advantage Plus which gives me comprehensive dental, vision , hearing and more. I have had no problems....none.

Is this world ever going to get better? People try to live a long life, and sometimes I don't know why? There is so much corruption, not just in our country but in other countries. My children are in their 40s and say mom they say Medicare will be gone by the time I retire. All I can say is I guess you can't retire. 😢

Advantage is probably great as long as you are healthy. It is when you get sick you have problems. My wife got a hip replacement on her plan G and all it cost her was the part B deductible.

BREAK EVEN IS: 79!! TAKE it while in your GO-GO stage of life, not your SLOW-GO stage, SS won't last about another 10 years anyway..

Factory food makes you sick 😷, Pharmaceutical try to cure you, but never do; then the insurance companies come out and try to help to pay your bills, but at the end you end up with a chain in your neck with those premiums and monthly payments. How to STOP using Medicare? 😂. Go inside your pantry and throw away ALL factory food 🏭 And begging making fresh meals. Don’t eat red meat 🥩, any processed food and no dairy 🥛, sugar, bread 🥖, bad starches like white rice and pastas. Eat first lots of row vegetables 🥕 and fruits 🍎 , before you eat your cook food. Drink water and eat the family of seeds and nuts and 6-7 glasses of water 💦….In a month you will see a difference. All fresh herbs are medicinal ; do your research 🧐 ❤❤❤❤❤

But don't they penalize you heavily if your still working? For example if you make over a certain amount they take so much away it's not worth it. I make over 100k a year at 59 years old. I don't think it's worth the trouble.

I want to start at 67 but work until 70 it gets more complicated then to if it is worth it.

A huge percentage of people at my job "Work from home" I go in just about everyday and see 80% or more empty desks. These people will "Work" forever. I have never seen so many lazy people in my life the past 6 years. It's a real effort to get these people to come into the office, let alone respond to an email. Now they use the work from home b.s as a replacement for daycare it's very apparent. If I were employer I would force the work from homers show proof of child care during working hours. These people don't even try to hide the fact they are running a daycare instead of working. So yes, some people can "work" until 70.

What is plan G cost on California?

I pay taxes on my social security monthly check and they make me pay a fee for Medicare. Breaks even every month.

I was married for 26 years then unfortunately, got divorced. My ex-husband makes more than double than I do. He is 2 years younger than me. He might retire early because he does have a health issue. How is my social security affected? Do I collect off of his and do wait until he starts collecting?

I am going to do this I have numerous issues.

Your health is greater than your wealth! Retire sooner and start taking SS!! We can figure out how to make more money, but we can’t get back one second of time and nothing is guaranteed!!

Im taking it as soon as possible.. The federal Government is already into a financial collapse.. and in the long run I get more taking it at 62 then waiting, and I could die at any time.. Waiting to 70 I could be dead before that and my family get NOTHING.
